Hiring is a time-consuming process, especially when you have to comb through hundreds (or even thousands) of resumes to find the right person you have for the position that's available, but Workday wants to make that a little easier. Workday announced the availability of two new AI-powered hiring tools in a press release on Thursday. The tools—HiredScore AI for Recruiting and HiredScore AI for Talent Mobility—are designed to help organizations find the right talent and help manage employee growth. AI can potentially reduce the amount of time it takes to find the right candidate for an open position. Xavier Lorenzo / Getty Images HiredScore AI for Recruiting is exactly what it sounds like: an AI tool that helps you identify the candidates that qualify for the position that you have available. The AI provides data-driven insights and can help surface resumes from previous applicants and other talent pipelines. On the candidate side, HiredScore AI for Recruiting can help available talent find the positions they're the best fit for. According to Workday, this tool has the potential to provide "a 25% boost in recruiter capacity and 34% faster hiring manager reviews." HiredScore AI for Talent Mobility is a growth management tool that helps organizations stay on top of training and career development for the workforce and includes tailored recommendations on an employee level. Workday promises "a 40% increase in internal application rates and a 2.3x increase in employees' likelihood to apply to an internal job when provided tailored recommendations" with this tool. Workday also announced new AI capabilities in its Job Architecture Hub, including "surfacing market-trend skills suggestions" and AI tools that help streamline, organize, and manage the recruiting process. This new feature will begin rolling out later this year. "Inefficient processes can delay hiring and put undue burden on recruiters and managers and can result in both internal and external candidates being overlooked," said Aashna Kircher, group general manager for the office of the CHRO, Workday. "Workday is delivering AI to rapidly transform how organizations manage talent – to help them find the right person for the right job at the right time." No Degree? No Problem.
