AI is all the rage, but that doesn't mean making it work for your business is easy. This new collaboration between Lenovo and Databricks aims to make finding those returns easier. AI has the potential to help businesses achieve desired outcomes, but some businesses may need help reaching that point. d3sign / Getty Images Lenovo announced the new collaboration with Databricks in a press release on its website on Wednesday. The two companies plan to team up to help businesses learn to use generative AI better to achieve the outcomes and innovation they hoped to find. In this partnership, Databricks will provide the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform for data collection while Lenovo opens the Lenovo AI Center of Excellence to help organizations define their need and then work with the information to innovate and achieve the desired outcomes. “We’ve spoken to many customers at various stages of their AI journeys and, while most want to reap the benefits and feel the urgency to do so, their organizations aren’t ready,” commented Linda Yao, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategy, Lenovo Solutions & Services Group. “Our latest study showed that 90% of the CIOs we surveyed see AI as a game changer, yet over half feel their organizations lack the technical skills to scale AI quickly." The results of this partnership will first be seen in Greater China and the Asia Pacific Region but will roll out globally in the near future. As a result of Lenovo and Databricks joining forces, Lenovo plans to offer "end-to-end expertise in solutions and services for data management."
