Dynabook's New Tecra A-Series Business Laptops Loaded With AI

Artificial intelligence in everything from the software to the webcam to the battery

Businesses that want it now have two new options for laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors and on-device AI capabilities.

AI has the potential to revolutionize productivity in the office, and Dynabook is counting on it with these two new laptops.

In a press release sent to Lifewire, Dynabook announced two new "AI-Infused" Tecra A-Series laptops. The Tecra A40-M and the Tecra A60-M are 14- and 16-inch laptops, respectively, that sport Intel Core Ultra processors, and Windows 11 Pro, including Microsoft's new Copilot AI.

Both will have a dedicated Copilot key, AI noise reductions, a 5MP AI-enhanced webcam, and AI-enhanced battery management designed to extend the laptops' usage time.

From the specs provided to Lifewire, it looks as if the only real differences between the laptops will be size and weight. The 14-inch Tecra A40-M will weigh a little over 3 pounds, whereas the 16-inch version (the Tecra A60-M) will weigh almost 3.75 pounds.

Both will have 64GB LPDDR5 RAM, Intel Arc Graphics, and a WUXGA screen with a touch screen option. And from the images provided, it does appear that they both also have 180-degree lay-flat hinges.
