Samsung Reveals New Galaxy Book Go Laptops

Starting at $349, Available June 10

Samsung has just announced two new Galaxy Book laptops with an emphasis on portability—the Galaxy Book Go and the Galaxy Book Go 5G. The standard Galaxy Book Go will be available on June 10, starting at $349, and the Galaxy Book Go 5G will follow later this year.

The Galaxy Book Go looks to be a device meant for travel, with a shockproof design, 180-degree hinge, and up to 18 hours of battery life on a full charge. It's also designed to run cool, using an energy-efficient Qualcomm 7c Gen 2 compute platform that doesn't require a fan. That also keeps the laptop lightweight (at just over 3 pounds) and quiet.

Integration with the Samsung Galaxy Ecosystem is also a priority, as the Galaxy Book Go is designed to pair easily with other Galaxy devices and can use Quick Share to instantly copy files.

Specs for the Galaxy Book Go include a 14-inch TFT FHD display, a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in 720p HD camera with digital mic, and Dolby Atmos speakers.

Optional specs start at 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage, but can be increased up to 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage. The cost of that extra memory and storage space has not been revealed yet, but the lower-end version will retail for around $349.

Samsung has yet to announce the specs and pricing for the Galaxy Book Go 5G.
