According to Samsung, the user interface update will first roll out to the Galaxy S21 series, including the base model, the S21+, and the S21 Ultra. The company promises to send out the changes to other devices in due time but neglects to say when. Samsung Galaxy S21 owners will be given a slew of new Color Palettes to choose from in the update. You will be able to change the look and feel of the entire user interface from the home screen to the menus, buttons, and icons. Some of the device’s features offer even deeper customization, although Samsung doesn’t detail what these changes are precisely. The keyboard has also been expanded with a greater variety of emojis, GIFs, and stickers now available. Security features have been upgraded. The device will now alert you if an app is trying to gain access to your camera and microphone. And Samsung has simplified privacy by collecting all settings and controls into a singular dashboard. Samsung Finally, Samsung is also extending the S21's access to other Samsung devices and third-party apps for a uniform experience across the board. The Galaxy S21 series will be getting the update starting November 15, and it will be available soon to the previous S and Note series of devices, although Samsung hasn't said when "soon" is. Some of the other devices getting the update include the S10, Z Fold3, and Tab S7. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
