On the heels of Thursday's Intel Core Ultra Processor announcement and just ahead of Samsung Unpacked 2024, the company has dropped a new line of Galaxy Book computers designed with AI in mind. The Galaxy Book4 lineup includes three new devices: Book4 Ultra, Book4 Pro and Book4 Pro 360. The new laptops have the Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor, which is designed to be AI-first so Galaxy Book owners can take advantage of new AI-enhanced software without giving up the quality and battery life they've become accustomed to. Samsung “The Galaxy Book4 series plays a key role in bringing best-in-class connectivity to our ecosystem that will broaden how people interact with their PC, phone, tablet, and other devices for truly intelligent and connected experiences," TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Experience Business at Samsung Electronics said in the press release announcing the new laptops. The Galaxy Book4 Ultra is a 16-inch laptop with Windows Home 11, an Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU that comes in 6Gb or 8 GB options, Wi-Fi 6E, 512GB/1TB/2TB SSD options, and an expansion slot. The Galaxy Book4 Pro is available in 14- or 16-inch sizes but only features Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 processors, Intel Arc GPU, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage options, also with an expansion slot. Samsung The Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 is also a 16-inch device that features the Intel Core Ulta 5 or 7 CPU and Intel Arc GPU but only has 512GB/1TB storage options with no expansion slot. All of the laptops feature touchscreen capabilities and 2MP cameras, but only the Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 has Samsung's S Pen in the box. The Galaxy Book4 Ultra is the only one of the three that features fast charging, adding about 55 percent battery life on a 30-minute charge using the 140W adapter under some very specific conditions. However, Samsung claims a new cooling system design allows you to "use your device for a longer time on a single charge thanks to increased power efficiency." Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series. The Galaxy Book4 lineup will be available starting in Korea in January 2024, and the press release states it will be "progressively made available in select markets." There is no mention of what those markets are or when they will gain availability. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
