OnePlus Nord N30

The OnePlus Nord N30 is a compelling budget-minded smartphone. It sits at the bottom of the OnePlus lineup, but it offers a lot of the same great features the higher-end models do, including fast 50W charging, a generous 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and dual stereo speakers, great for streaming on the go. 

Some model-specific features include a 5G-enabled dual SIM tray with a memory card slot that supports up to 1TB expandable storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 108MP triple camera system with 3x lossless zoom.

The Nord N30 also comes with what’s called a 200 percent Ultra Volume Mode, which means you can pump up the volume without the need for external speakers—and no need to worry about unwanted distortion.

OnePlus Open

If you’re interested in a foldable OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus Open might fit the bill. OnePlus reports that it’s the slimmest, lightest foldable on the market in North America, thanks to its aerospace-grade materials. It weighs in at 8.4 ounces and measures 2.88 inches when folded.

The external display is 6.31 inches while the interior display is a generous 7.82 inches. Both have a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and use AMOLED technology, Dolby Vision, and offer up to 2800 nits of brightness.

The Open also gets a Hasselblad camera system (48MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera) that performed impressively during our hands-on testing.

The OnePlus Open ships with Oxygen OS 14 based on Android 14, which includes Open Canvas for split-screen productivity and drag-and-drop sharing, and has a 67W fast-charging battery, 16GB RAM (expandable up to an additional 12GB), and 256GB storage.

OnePlus 12

The OnePlus 12 is the brand’s latest flagship model, and it bears all of the best hallmarks. It runs on an upgraded Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and offers up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 6.82-inch display is a bright 4,500 nits with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus 12 also gets a fourth-generation Hasselblad camera that consists of a three-part system: a 50MP wide camera, 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP 3x telephoto camera.

In our hands-on testing, the OnePlus 12 camera delivered first-rate results for a variety of up-close, zoomed, and other shots and in bright and low-light conditions.

This flagship smartphone also houses a big 5,400mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging for two days’ worth of power in 31 minutes and 50W wireless charging that replenishes a day’s worth of battery in a speedy 30 minutes.

OnePlus 12R

The mid-range OnePlus 12R presents a happy middle ground between the more expensive OnePlus 12 and the budget-friendly Nord N30. Like the OnePlus 12, the 12R offers up to 16GB RAM.

It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and shares the OnePlus 12’s 120Hz ProXDR display with up to 4,500 nits brightness. On the 12R, the display is a hair smaller at 6.78 inches. 

Also like the OnePlus 12, the 12R houses the biggest battery in the OnePlus lineup: a 5,400mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. In our hands-on testing, we saw a charge from zero to 55 percent in a mere 15 minutes.

While the camera system isn’t as refined as its costlier counterparts, the OnePlus 12R has a pretty impressive triple-camera system. It has a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro lens. 

OnePlus Pad

If you’re in the market for a new tablet, the OnePlus Pad is an impressively equipped, budget-friendly option. The 11.61-inch display has a 2800x2200 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and unique, book-like 7:5 ratio.

This ratio makes the viewing transition from portrait to landscape mode smooth. It’s also very light and portable at about 0.26 inches thick and 1.22 pounds.

The OnePlus Pad’s 9,510mAh battery offers 12.4 hours of playback and up to one month in standby mode. It’s also equipped with 67W fast charging, which brings the battery back to 100 percent in just over an hour. 

If you have a OnePlus smartphone, the Pad can work seamlessly with it, allowing you to take a photo on your phone and view it immediately on the tablet. To level up multitasking power, you can opt for the companion magnetic keyboard and stylus.
