If you're not, though, you're out of luck. Microsoft announced new Surface laptops powered by AI and exclusively for businesses. The Surface Pro 10 for Business and the Surface Laptop 6 for Business promise better design, battery life, security, and displays along with more ports for its commercial users. They are built to enhance access to AI, too, with a Copilot key added to both models' keyboards. The company also announced that its Adaptive Accessories will also be available for business customers as well. Surface Laptop 6 for Business. Microsoft The new devices run Intel Core Ultra processors and an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) that Microsoft says makes the Surface Laptop 6 twice as fast as the Surface Laptop 5, while the Surface Pro 10 is up to 53 percent faster than the previous Pro 9. Surface Pro 10 for Business The new Pro 10 will include 5G, a first for the platform, while the keyboard includes a bolder keyset and larger font than before, with higher contrast and backlighting, too. The company promises a 33 percent brighter touch- and pen-enabled display, as well, along with an anti-reflective coating. There's also a new ultrawide (114˚ field of view) webcam included to make Teams calls clearer and better than before. Surface Pro 10 for Business. Microsoft As for security, Microsoft promises a Secured-Core PC with enhanced sign-in security on by default, plus a new NFC reader to enable secure password-less authentication with various NFC keys. Surface Laptop 6 for Business This new lower-end model comes in a 13.5-inch and a 15-inch variety, with anti-reflective and adaptive color tech that Microsoft claims reduces reflections by up to 50 percent more than its predecessor. There's a new Surface Studio Camera included, as well, with the ability to capture 1080p video and use AI-powered (running on the NPU) Windows Studio Effects to manage your video calls. If you're in the US or Canada, your company will also be able to choose an integrated smart card reader with this model, as well, for added security (government agencies will likely love this). Both the Surface Pro 10 for Business and the Surface Laptop 6 for business start at $1,199.99 and are slated to release on April 8 at 9:00 PM. You'll need to be a business customer to purchase them, however, as these aren't for consumer sale. Computer & Laptop Reviews & Top Picks Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
