Femme-Identifying Gamers to Get More Opportunities With the*gamehers In 2025

More visibility and additional benefits in the works

Women and femme-identifying gamers will be able to find even more content in 2025 that's specifically targeted to their interests.

In 2024, the*gamehers started an Ambassador Program to bring more opportunities to women and femme-identifying games and gaming professionals. Now, in partnership with Thunderpick, that program is expanding into 2025.

The expansion of the*gamehers Ambassador Program was announced in a press release on Wednesday. The program, which the company says, "has been instrumental in promoting and supporting underrepresented gamers, providing them with platforms to advocate for a more inclusive gaming community," offers partnerships with companies like Thunderpick, Walmart, and other well-known companies.

Thunderpick, a sports betting company, is partnering with the*gamehers as part of the expansion. Together and with other sponsors, the Ambassador Progam empowers women and femme-identifying gamers to create new content, attend exclusive gaming events, and connect with others in the gaming community.

Kelly Sanders, Head of Strategy at Thunderpick, said, "Thunderpick is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within the esports community. Our extended partnership with the*gamehers underscores our dedication to empowering women gamers and supporting femme-led esports organizations. We believe that in collaboration with the*gamehers, we can not only better highlight the incredible talent of women in gaming but also inspire the next generation of gamers to pursue their passions without boundaries."
